Rosslare Golf Club

Rosslare Golf Links is the hidden gem of Irish Links Golf Courses. Situated in the sunniest part of the country, on the extreme south-east coast, it stands on a narrow peninsula with the Irish sea on one side and the huge expanse of Wexford harbour on the other. The dog-leg par 4 first begins a round that has many golfing highlights, the par 5 seventh, the famous “Barber’s Pole” index 1 par 4 eleventh, the short par 4 thirteenth and the devilish par 4 sixteenth eventually leading to the long narrow eighteenth are just some of the highlights.

Rosslare Golf Club is unique in the golfing world in that it invites visitors to play on competitions days, in all but four of our members competitions (Captain’s Prize, President’s Prize, Pettigrew Cup and Golfer of the Year).

Rated as number 37 in the top 100 courses in Ireland and rated as the top course in County Wexford. This sees Rosslare Golf Club rated the 3rd best golf course in the Sunny South East, in addition to being in the top 10 on the east coast. The course continues to be rated as the best links golf course in the South East.

New 12 Hole Golf Course designed by Christy O’Connor Junior

The Burrow course, designed in 2005 by Christy O’Connor Jr, has 12 exciting and challenging holes. Like the Old Course, it’s playable year round, kept in immaculate condition and offers the golfer some rare and exciting challenges in Links Golf – low dunes, sand banks, rolling fairways and of course, the wind!
