Penati Golf Resort Legend Course
Penati Golf Resort is a singular project in Slovakia, soon to be added to the map of the top golf resorts in Central Europe. It is being constructed in the Záhorie region near the town of Senica, amidst pine forests on land interspersed with white sand dunes. With its uncommonly large size of 216 hectares and distinctive features, this is the first complex in Slovakia designed to meet the expectations of a broad range of golfers and golfing enthusiasts. A total of 20 million euros will be invested in the project.
Aside from the world-class 36-hole golf course, there is a plethora of possibilities for relaxing and for spending quality, active leisure time.
A recreation area will be created in the green oasis a stone’s throw from the golf courses, offering comfortable recreational villas by the lake and plots of land for family homes to be built according to the unique specifications of their future owners.

This 18-hole golf course has been built according to plans authored by Nicklaus Design, one of the world’s leading design firms. The Nicklaus Design LEGEND COURSE complies with USGA standards at the world PGA level. 60% of the world’s golf courses which host PGA tournaments have been designed by Nicklaus Design.
The company was founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and is a global leader among companies that design golf courses. They have designed an astounding 370 courses in 34 countries and 39 states.
At least 70 of these golf courses are ranked in the top 100 on various national and international lists and no less than 95 courses designed by Nicklaus Design have had the honour of hosting more than 650 professional tournaments throughout the world, as well as important national amateur championships.
There are currently more than 50 Nicklaus Design courses in some form of development and the firm has projects signed, under design, or under development in 28 different countries, including 17 in which it has never been involved before. Today, Slovakia has joined the ranks of these prestigious countries with its exceptional, newly built Penati Golf Resort near Senica.
95 hectares of the resort’s total available area were used to build the Nicklaus Design LEGEND and because of its expanse the course has no areas out of bounds, guaranteeing maximum privacy for players.
Wide undulating fairways, a diversity of greens, challenging steep bunkers, beautiful and variable teeing placements all let golfers choose the degree of difficulty of their games, while generating space for players to be creative and to think strategically.
Longest hole in Europe
The 716-metre 15th hole - the longest hole in Europe awaits golf enthusiasts, offering 11 tees. The view alone is fascinating.
Equally unparalleled is the final, narrowest hole on the course - played in a near dream-like setting on a magnificent island green. The Island Green - a small emerald floating upon a blue surface – sets the grand stage of the final act of the golf drama, guaranteed to liven up and provide a thrilling close to the game.
After all, nothing’s over until the last hole - the deciding test of the player’s skills. 130 spectators will be able to watch with baited breath from the terrace of the GOLF CLUB.
