Golfclub Achensee

As president of the Golf & Country Club Achensee I am pleased that we can present our beautiful golf course on the Internet.

The foundation for the development of the GC Achensee, Dr. Leopold von Pasquali (first president). His idealism and the years of efforts of my predecessor Alfred Hartmann, enabled, in 1989, the newly elected board to deal with the reconstruction and expansion of the golf course - which was no easy task. It took more than four years until we got all the necessary approvals after much wrangling.

1995 it was ready, the new 9-hole course was opened and the jewel has 9 holes with 18 greens (a novelty in Austria) with 124 slope for the ladies and Slope 122 for men.

After another lengthy negotiations, succeeded in 2003 to expand the course to 18 fairways. Since 2005, we look forward to unlimited golf on our beautifully fitted into the landscape golf course. With the new clubhouse in 2007, we have now another milestone in achieving our goal - one of the most beautiful places in Austria - succeeded.

We are pleased to be happy when our members and numerous guests on the challenges and beauty of our place and wish everyone "a good game".
